Woodblock Prints.

Hand-carved with improved tools on discarded pieces of scrap wood. These prints start with the slow process of carving and end with a quick inked print that becomes endlessly repeatable. A scrap of wood, processed beyond recognizability is given one more meaning before it returns to decomposition. At almost 100% expenditure of energy, it then returns to its familiar shielded form of being covered in bark.
